The team were formed for the 2015/16 season under the leadership of Paul Barnes and were successfully promoted from the Eastern Division into the Premier Division South during their first season. Unfortunately the team suffered relegation back to the Eastern Division after a tough season in the Premier Division South. Following a difficult start to their Eastern Division campaign, Paul Barnes made the difficult decision to resign mid-way through the season after suffering an 8-0 defeat away at eventual league champions Leamington. This saw Aaron Cartwright and Stephen Tonks take over the team as Joint Managers, and were able to somewhat steady the ship in what was difficult season overall.
The 2018/19 season saw some impressive achievements for the Green Army, as they recorded their first ever FA Youth Cup win with victory away at Coventry Sphinx who eventually finished Runners Up in the Eastern Division. They were also able to complete the double over local rivals Lichfield City, as well as beating Western Division Champions Solihull Moors in the League Cup. The following season saw Aaron Cartwright step down from his position due to other commitments within the club, allowing Tonks to take full control with support from Assistant Manager Josh Barnes who stepped up from his coaching role. Unfortunately both this and the following season were curtailed by the Covid-19 pandemic, meaning football didn't fully resume until the 2021/22 campaign. This saw Leighton Thomas come in as Assistant Manager to support Tonks following Josh Barnes departure during the covid breaks to focus on his football career.
With a new focus in place, Gareth Astle and Steve Pike transitioned their U16 team into the Youth Team after completing their junior pathway journey, with 2 seasons completed as a group in Floodlit football. In the second of those seasons, a new Floodlit team was formed with Gavin Revell and Lee Ayres bringing over their already successful junior team from Next Generation. Gavin led the team to their best ever FA Youth Cup run before eventually bowing out to Hereford.
As of the 2025/26 season, Dan O'Kelly leads the Youth Team with support from Dylan Jones and Archie Shephard.
Manager: Dan O'Kelly
